$200,000 – $220,000 BASE + BONUS + EQUITY

REMOTE – SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

THE COMPANY

This D2C business is a global leader in its niche hobbyist industry. The company operates both in the US and several international marketplaces. They’re looking for a leader to provide insights, strategy, and direction to both the marketing analytics team and the business.

THE ROLE

As Director of Global Marketing Analytics, you’ll oversee both the US and International teams. You’ll lead the Marketing Analytics team with your strong foundation of analytical skills, technical skills, and leadership capabilities. Your insights will drive strategy for both the marketing and commercial aspects of the business. You can expect to be doing the following…

  • Providing thought leadership for customer and marketing analytics, generating actionable insights, surfacing new trends, and driving efficiency
  • Crafting a vision and roadmap to create a best practice for reporting and analytics, standardizing KPIs, dashboards, data sources, etc.
  • Building a global marketing efficiency and effectiveness strategy and framework spanning media mix modeling, marketing attribution, and experimentation
  • Providing insights to senior leaders, driving priorities based on a holistic view of marketing, providing the data and analytics to enable the business to make more data-informed decisions
  • Leading and growing a team of marketing analysts

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field, Masters degree a plus
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience
  • A strong foundation with technical skills in big data, data warehousing, and analytics tech stacks
  • SQL and Google Analytics a requirement, Salesforce a plus
  • Experience in paid media measurement, attribution, MMM, A/B and multivariate testing, and user segmentation
  • Excellent ability to prioritize competing initiatives, set clear team objectives, manage relationships with the executive teams
  • Confidence to lead in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, clear and concise communication skills
